Pull Up a Chair. Let’s Talk.

What’s up, family?

This whole thing gets busy.

Writing songs, recording, playing shows, answering emails, working on the website, building the studio and somewhere in there, being a husband, a dad, and DOING work. There’s always something to finish, something to learn, and another idea I probably should’ve written down before starting the next one.

And honestly? I don’t always know if I’m getting it right.

I’m trying to make good music and get it out into the world while figuring out everything that comes with that. Some things work. Some need another try. Sometimes I’m busy as hell, and I still have to stop and ask myself whether I’m actually getting anywhere.

I wanted a place where I could just talk about all of that. Be myself. Not wait until everything’s finished and I have a neat little announcement ready.

So, starting in November, I’ll be checking in here each month.

Think of it like hanging out with me in the studio. Pull up a chair. There might be a guitar in my lap, a song half-finished, and some piece of equipment I’m still trying to figure out. We can talk about what I’ve been working on, what happened at a show, what’s coming next or whatever’s been on my mind.

No big industry jargon. Just a regular conversation.

Of course, I’ll tell you when there’s new music to hear or a show to come catch. But I also want to share the stuff between those moments. Why I changed a song. What I’m excited about. What’s giving me trouble. The little things that might never make it into a social media post but are a big part of my day.

Some months I’ll have a lot to say. Other months, we might spend the whole conversation on one song or one thing I’m trying to work through. I’d rather let it be honest than force it to sound important.

And I’d like to hear from you, too. If something brings up a question or reminds you of your own life, tell me. You don’t have to know anything about making music to hang out here.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, join the mailing list through the signup form on this page so we can stay connected.

Thanks for being here. Seriously.

Now let me see if I can finish one thing before I start three more.
